Family-run sports centre right inside the Punta Prima urbanisation — 450 metres from the apartment, on foot. 5 outdoor padel courts on artificial grass, plus pickleball, minigolf, darts and a bar. The closest of all our recommendations and the only one you reach without a car.

A 24,000 m² municipal sports complex three kilometres from the apartment. Three outdoor padel courts, swimming pool, tennis and a football pitch — the most affordable, nearby option for a pick-up game.

Villamartín (Orihuela Costa)
Designed by Paul Putman in 1972, one of the most iconic courses on the Costa Blanca and the closest one to the apartment. 18 holes, par 72, laid out among century-old pines that have hosted the Mediterranean Open of the PGA European Tour.

A masterpiece by Pepe Gancedo (1991), 18 holes par 72 carved between natural ramblas and Mediterranean scrub. A technical, scenic course with views of the Mediterranean Sea from several tees — a favourite among those who already know Villamartín.

Outdoor club in La Siesta Park, run by the Nova Pádel Torrevieja group. Glass-walled courts and a family atmosphere — the twelve-minutes-away alternative when the municipal courts are full.

Indoor club with three exceptionally well-built courts (two doubles and one single), bar and terrace. The best option in the area if the day turns grey or the northeasterly picks up — playable in any weather.

In summer play early (tee-times before 9:00) or at sunset — the 13:00–17:00 window is very hot. Book your tee-time 2–3 days ahead in high season. Padel courts are usually rented by the hour (€16–22) and include floodlights. If you don’t bring rackets, most clubs rent them for €4–6.
